localization with i18n

Reported by Adam Kliment | April 30th, 2009 @ 08:17 AM

Hello, in rails 2.2.2 is now new feature to get easier localization. See: http://guides.rubyonrails.org/i1... We've started to work on rewriting all static text content to use with I18n because we would like to see your great app in Czech language. It could be useful for easy translation to many other languages. Please let us know if there's someone working on it too. We can contribute. Adam

    Hi Adam

Awesome work! Please fork the project on github so I can help you guys as far as possible!

Please take note of the very important upcoming changes please:

    • I'll be freezing Rails 2.3-stable into the app and fix any breakages
    • I'll be converting the app to use jQuery (jRails) instead of prototype

Please drop me a mail at your earliest convenience.

    Cheers
